Using legacy software safely
Do not rely on unsupported security software to protect current accounts or data.
- Prefer the original developer or a recognized preservation project.
- Verify hashes and scan files before opening them.
- Use an isolated device or emulator without personal accounts.
- Do not reuse current passwords, payment details or private records.
