BUZZeeBee is a messaging service for PocketPCs, Desktops and Laptops using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or TCPIP. When you encounter someone else using BUZZeeBee, it will create automatically a spontaneous network with you, without any configuration whatsoever. Any communication is anonymous until you decide to share your business card or include your contact information in your message. Because we want relevant information right at the moment in a location, each message has a span life of 24 hours and each group you create stays alive for 7 days. Technically speaking, BUZZeeBee uses a patent-pending peer to multipeers technology called BluePing Network, which creates spontaneous ad-hoc networks. BluePing Network uses each device as a relay to reach others and transmit the information further than the limitation of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. An SDK is available for companies interested in building other services or application using this proximity breakthrough infrastructure.
