1map is a traditional mapping application with usual functionality (scroll, zoom in/out, address and street corner lookup, points of interest support, GPS interface).

To the best of authors' knowledge it is the first such application for RIM handhelds.
Maps are stored on the device, consequently no network coverage is required for application to work.
The number of maps that can be loaded at once is limited by the amount of flash memory on the pager.
When connected to an external GPS receiver with NMEA interface (a special cable is required) 1map will display current location on the map and direction of travel.
Current version works on RIM 857/957 with Blackberry OS version 2.0 or higher.
